The History Student Union (HSU) is a departmental student union committed to promoting the study of History at Simon Fraser University, and to represent the interests of History students. Any student who is a declared major, joint major, extended minor, minor, or honours in History is considered a member of HSU. Any student intending to declare for one of these programs and any student enrolled in a History class is also a member of HSU.

We also aim to promote engagement among History students through academic and social events, as well as direct participation in HSU. We try to plan one event such as a dialogue, film screening, or pub night in the Fall and Spring semesters. We also share the latest History related news through our social media pages.
